Helka ceramics is a small independant ceramic label founded by Lisa Kosak in Berlin. All the pieces are handmade, with a focus on modern, timeless tableware and utilitarian pieces that bring beauty and function to your homes. They are produced in small quantities and aim to highlight the thought, time and craftsmanship put into each object.

The shapes and colours of pieces are inspired by the simplicity of nature and embrace the slowness of clay. You, too, are invited to slow down and appreciate a ceramic piece crafted with intention to elevate your living space and table, from plates and bowls to coffee cups, serving trays, mugs, soap dishes and vases.

All pieces are handmade in small batches in her Berlin workshop, either turned on the potter's wheel, formed from slabs, or built using the coil trailing technique, and have the unique character of a piece made by hand.

Helka ceramics also works on commission for private collections, restaurants, cafés, guest houses, and hotels. In parallel, Lisa teaches pottery classes, workshops, team buildings and events. Introducing people to the process of throwing on the potter's wheel or handbuilding and accompanying them through their journey with clay is central to her practice.

After running Studio Argile for more than four years, she opened her own studio in the heart of Kreuzberg, Berlin, in March 2023.
